No one really knows anything — not for certain. But here are my thoughts…
Firstly, there’s a good chance the coronavirus in question has been stealthily marching through North America for at least a month longer than is suspected. You’ve probably run into it already…
And the odds say you will probably get it. In fact, you or a family member may already have contracted it, recovered and chalked it up to seasonal flu.
Not all hosts are created equal.
The strain of hysteria that we find in China is a function of communism, while the strain of hysteria that will surely visit the U.S. will doubtless be comparatively muted. Which is to say, in the U.S., hysteria will not mutate into the highly transmissible form on display in China. We still have too much freedom to serve as apt hosts.
So what is the correct response in the West?
The correct response in the West is the one we have unofficially adopted: a passive one, especially as containment is impossible. Let it burn through the population. Call the cases in low risk populations ‘flu’ and prescribe plenty of fluids, bed rest and love.
The ‘big one’ may be right around the corner, but 2019 Novel Coronavirus is not it.
The coronavirus isn’t the death knell for the Chinese people, but it may certainly presage the death of Chinese Communism.
The progressives’ goal is to humiliate and marginalize the majority—to make normal people feel abnormal, to be alone, to be afraid to dissent from what appears to be an overwhelming, media-magnified, Google-approved, Hollywood-polished, Obama-confirmed, irresistible consensus. As any competent military strategist can tell you, numbers count for less than morale. A demoralized majority can be subjugated by an activist minority when it refuses to fight.
The ghetto of the 21st century is solidly matriarchal, owing to the engineered critical uncertainty of paternity resulting both from gang rivalries and promiscuity by transient males. Women are fully communized. Offspring become the wards of the gang/tribe.
Matriarchy, by design, is incompatible with the family system, and thus is largely shorn of culture and the hallmarks of civilization: property and inheritance. In a matriarchy, the vision of men is shortened; no pursuit is subordinate to the future welfare of the race.
Unconcealed communism is on display in the primitivized ghetto, wherein one does not distinguish between property of persons and property of things. Encouraged at once are amativeness and acquisitiveness as selfsame expressions.
Fanatical crypto-communists in public office hold out to those with nothing to lose the prospects of quick enrichment—enrichment at the expense of the already dispossessed. The communists in public office appeal to the cupidity of those with little in an effort to exploit social inequality and legitimate marriage in a relentless and largely successful effort to stunt the natural and proper development of the human race.
In the ghettos of the 21st century, all pursuits that produce discontent and unrest, and which decimate the ranks of the virile and capable, are encouraged by Rousseauesque crypto-communists.
I mention the ghetto as the suburb has already been conquered; the suburb has already been rendered subservient and the will-to-power of the average man has been amputated. This does not preclude a reign of terror. No revolution has been without its reign of terror—its ethnic cleansing. And it will be the dispossessed from the ghetto, already heavily-armed, that will heed the call of ochlarchy, and which will serve unwittingly in return for the promise of license and power, the cause of communism against all of its enemies.
In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, nor to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better.
